28 February 2010 - The consultation on the Draft Sound of Mull Marine Spatial Plan concludes today. If you have any comments on the structure and content of the draft plan these need to be submitted to Isaac.Forster@argyll-bute.gov.uk before this date.

17 March 2010 - AGM of ACBA to be held at the Coastguard Office on Stevenson Street, Oban at 1930. The Meeting will open with an MCGA presentation followed by a Q&A session with Sector Officer Kenny Devine. Thereafter the AGM will comprise (1) Welcome (2) Apologies (3) Minutes of 2009 AGM (4) Chairman's report (5) Accounts for year and report (6) Any constitutional changes (7) Election of Office Bearers (8) AOB inc update on Oban Bay Marine and two additional relevant local matters. We hope you can attend.

17 March 2010 - Scottish Natural Heritage Sharing Good Practice training day Marine Wildlife: working together towards a better understanding, a free day's training at Battleby, Perth. 25 March 2010 - next SSMEI Sound of Mull meeting 1130 to 1600 at the Isle of Mull Hotel, Craignure. A closed meeting for members, the day will be devoted to discussing amendments to the draft Marine Spatial Plan in light of consultation responses. Agenda (46.5kb .doc).

18 - 20 June 2010 - Sharkatag2010 is the next SSACN / SSTP shark tagging event running in Scotland. The Scottish Shark Tagging Programme (SSTP) is a branch of the Scottish Sea Angling Conservation Network. See SSACN and sharkatag websites for more details.
